January photos

Here are lots of photos from January- enjoy!

Teddy's Christmas present from Uncle Steven and Aunt Natalie- he loved it!

How I found Teddy when I asked Jonathon to put him in the carseat when we were in a hurry to leave to Bob and Susie's once. Haha!

The Christmas outfit GRANDpa and GRANDma Huckvale sent to Teddy

GRANDma holding Teddy

Everyone came to town for Jonathon's youngest brother David's mission homecoming so we celebrated Christmas at that time.  This was my favorite part of the weekend when we were all gathered together telling favorite memories of old Christmases. Grandma and Grandpa told us the story of how they met and how their favorite Christmas memory is when GRANDpa proposed on Christmas Eve after a choir concert her senior year of high school. They got married the summer after they graduated! :)

Tummy time with the boppy - so cute.

These eyes just gotta be blue!

Cosmo and Teddy snoozing away
BFFs

Actually, Cosmo was a little jealous when we first brought Teddy home.  Then one time Teddy burped and Cosmo licked up some of the milk and he instantly loved Teddy. So now he stays by his side all the time and comes running when he hears us patting Teddy's back to burp him. LOL. Kinda gross, but I'm happy Cosmo loves Teddy now!

Showing my sister how big Teddy is - these are pjs for 3-6 months and Teddy was only 6 weeks old and I could barely pull his chunky arm through the sleeve.

We went to a new restaurant called Freshii's and LOVED it so much that we went to the store and bought all the stuff to make it at home:  Rice and quinoa on bottom, corn, black beans, diced tomatoes, cilantro, green onion, cabbage, grated cheese, and chicken. YUM!!!!

A new born poop without a diaper on can go pretty far!

First time meeting Aunt Annie
Look at his STRAIGHT legs! He looks like a doll

First time meeting Uncle David coming home from his mission in Florida and Georgia

We love going for walks everyday. This is how we take Teddy with us. He falls asleep instantly.
He loves being outside in nature just as much as we do! I walked everyday while I was pregnant with him on these same trails and continued a few days after he was born with him in the carrier sling.  They say babies love this because it resembles being in the warm womb.

Carrying him around the house while I clean

When he was born he had no eyelashes, but now they keep growing and growing longer and longer!

LOL
Jonno loves holding Teddy close to him while we go walk

First time meeting GRANDpa Huckvale
Teddy smiled big for him and they sat together a few minutes. Grandpa said something to Teddy but since he had his stroke a few years ago, we can't know exactly what he said. I felt like they had a special connection though. And Teddy is their first great-grandchild to carry on the Huckvale name (also to carry on the Jon Huckvale name, like his dad and great grandpa!)

Out for a walk with Annie. She's holding Teddy. And Jonno's "happy mittens"

Ashley Fagen (Teddy's honorary god-aunt) stopped by to see him. We love her! She used to be in my Young Women's class at church and it's so fun to see your girls grow up and be awesome.

My friend Janelle took some photos for us:

My sister Shirley got us some stickers to capture his monthly progress. I love them!  She is so awesome to send us these and also almost ALL of these outfits Teddy is wearing are from her that she sent me as hand me downs from his cousins. We love them and love Aunt Shirley!!

My two favorite people. My favorite moments all look something like this.

Visiting Gillespie Dentistry. (Tina, Teresa, Amy, and Linda) Everyone loved Teddy! And he loved them.
And he did so good on his outing!
